Lone Star Scholarship

 

This scholarship seeks to reward an ambitious student who has performed at a superior rate both academically and holistically. An ideal candidate for this sc🌌holarship is a student who shines in their academics, communit♓y service or society involvement. To be eligible for this scholarship, students must be based in Texas.

 

$2,000.

 

1. Written summary of your current academic program and achievements to date (academic, professional, personal, honors, awards etc).
2. Up to 500 words describing the relevance of your studies to your life and/or goals.
3. Your current GPA and a copy of current transcript. (unofficial transcript ok to apply. Recipient will be asked to submit official transcript before scholarship disbursement) 

 

 

Based on academic achievement (GPA, honors and awards) and holistic applicant factors (leadership positions, community service, etc). Rubric will be used to score applicants. If there is a tie, winner will be selected at random fro🍬m tied applicants.

 

 

1. Application is open to all Texas based students
2. Applicant should be comfortable giving a video and/or written testimonial about their program and the scholarship.

 

Rolling Deadline. This scholarship has rolling monthly application deadlines. Students applying earlier will have a greater chance of winning.
